A great Morocco trip is decided long before you land. The country rewards planning — and punishes the traveller who tries to improvise across cities, mountains, and desert in too few days.
Timing first. Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are the sweet spots: warm days, cool nights, and the desert at its most forgiving. Summer belongs to the coast; deep winter belongs to the Atlas and its snow.
Then rhythm. The classic mistake is cramming Marrakech, Fez, Chefchaouen, and the Sahara into a week. The better trip moves slowly: two anchors, unhurried, with private transport between them so the journey itself becomes part of the experience.
Finally, the questions most planners forget to ask: How do you want to feel? What do you want to avoid? Who is travelling with you, and what do they each need? Answer those honestly and the itinerary writes itself. We are happy to write it with you.
